What is NetDesktop?

NetDesktop is a powerful, and universal, virus-proof terminal which is supplied in both hardware and software.

The hardware NetDesktop Silent terminal replaces the PC and functions immediately after connecting it to the network. Other devices can be connected to the network through it.

The software system NetDesktop SE replaces the operating system of the PC, and allows for greater performance than ever before. The PC then doesn't even need a harddisk. After installation even an old warhorse becomes a full-functioning terminal.

It's a similar principle to the television. After connecting to the server, the user starts the desired application.

What is NetDesktop for?

It simplifies the management and maintenance of user workstations from small offices to large computer systems. NetDesktop can automatically download new versions of the client from the network. Administrators don't need to go to the various terminals and then upload the new version, which is particularly beneficial for companies that have headquarters in one city and branches all over the country, even the world. It is a solution that allows you to build a terminal network, which on the one hand, allows you to centrally manage information and applications and on the other hand it limits the free storage of information and technology by individual users. It's also a cheap and immediate solution. And for network administrators, we have NetConsole - a program for managing all terminals in the network from one location. For the entire company, NetDesktop means the end of trouble with viruses and constant maintenance of user stations - simply: more comfort in the workplace.

What is unique about NetDesktop?

Hardware version NetDesktop Silent is based on standard PC components. And here the company K-net offers custom development according to customer requirements. In practice, it is verified in many companies, large hospitals and organizations.

The software version of NetDesktop replaces the operating system on older computers, while increasing security. This leads to a significant cost saving in acquiring new computers.

Currently, K-net has implemented over 1000 installations.
